The concept started off by taking some DubTastic Dubplates to Vanguard Studios where i along with the Tony Trombony passed each channel through various bits of old hardware compressors/expanders/fx/synths to add analog dynamics. We had fun modelling sounds in the synths and dubbing the sounds with some old tape echoes and spring/plate reverbs. Big up to the Tony Trombony and all the Vanguard Studio crew for letting me push the buttons.
